| Kommentar til obs.: | A small crake meandered on waterline stones at Ballum Sluse. It was at most of a starlings size. Bill was darkish. Back was brown with broader black and narrower white stripes. Throat and chest were light with no clear pattern. The bird was from time to time visible for 30 minutes from a distance less than 100 m. It flew across the 'river' and disappeared in the rushes. It's species was not identified until later. (Fotos Pentti Huttunen) |
